ConnectedWireless™ Corporation introduces the Deployed Asset Visibility System (DAVS) currently deployed with U.S. Army Forces in Kuwait and Iraq, enhancing Total Asset Visibility (TAV) and In-transit (ITV) of DoD assets.

Until now, units rapidly deploying to austere, remote sites lacked the ability to tap into distribution and transportation systems to pull out what is needed to track assets. ConnectedWireless™ has adapted proven, off-the-shelf systems to provide mission critical C2 to USAF cargo aircraft worldwide for the past 5 years. DAVS gives Ground, Air, and Sea forces a man-portable, single case tracking/reporting system usable anywhere, anytime – resulting in Command and Control of assets from origin to end users in the battle area.

DAVS is ideally suited to provide an "austere capability" to any existing logistics management system ( i.e. TC-AIMS II, GATES, CMOS, SARRS) essentially replicating only that functionality necessary at the "austere end," then sending required data via Low-Bandwidth link to the "home" AIS.

Features

Deployable Asset Visibility System is a self-contained, durable, portable, ITV “reporting station”. The system contains all the components needed for utilizing Automatic Identification Technology and communicating from remote locations.

Components

DAVS portable cases (DAVS DATA Terminals) are fully customized, environmentally designed units intended to satisfy individual customer needs. Case size, components, COMMS Channel, and many other features are fully selectable.

• COMM: Iridium Global Satellite Modem/Phone
• AIT: ConnectedWireless™ STR7200 (Savi Tag Interrogator) and Symbol PDT8146 (1D and 2D) Bar Code Scanner. Optional Zebra Portable Bar Code Printer.
• SOFTWARE: DAVS Data Terminal Messaging Software with built-in encryption.
• CASE: Ruggedized case for storage and easy access to: Modem, Antenna, Input Power, and Laptop. Power outlets for Laptop and Printer (see also: DAVS Case Components)
• POWER:
  • 24 Volts (12 volt optional) — designed to operate from military vehicle
  • AC: 100-250volts 50/60Hz
  • Internal Battery — sufficient to power case for 2-3 hours of operation
